For the department’s annual Halloween door-decorating contest, our lab transformed the space into a whimsical yet eerie masterpiece inspired by the natural world and microbial science. The design featured intricately crafted mushrooms, cobwebs, and Halloween-themed decorations, combining artistic creativity with a nod to the department’s scientific focus. We extended the theme with a carved pumpkin display and a striking life-sized figure crafted from repurposed materials, enhancing the spooky ambiance.
Our attention to detail and collaborative effort earned us first place in the competition, showcasing both our creative flair and team spirit. This project was a celebration of art, science, and community, demonstrating how innovation thrives in unexpected places! 🎃🕸️
